The movie was beyond cute! All the kids seemed to love it and it will help us kick off Fairy Tales when we return from Holiday Break. A BIG THANK YOU to all the parents, grandparents, and other family members that went with us! It was a blast!
We had so much fun sharing our pumpkin songs and painting our pumpkins. Of course, the pizza and cookies were awesome too! Thanks to all the parents that came to help!
We enjoyed graphing our bear colors today. Everyone got to come up and share their bear with the class. We told stories about how we got our bears and how the bear got it's name. We read a story about a bear named, Corduroy. Mrs. Price brought in a bear that looked just like Corduroy. Most students brought in a brown bear. Cierra brought in a cool rainbow bear. Jacob's bear was bright blue! Katie and Teagan had white bears and Fallyn had a black one. We all enjoyed sharing our bears!
We've had fun this week studying patterns. We made patterns with shapes on our smartboard. Today, we went on a pattern hunt. We looked for patterns within our classroom. We found so many!
In math today, we spent the morning exploring shorter and taller. We talked about what it means to be shorter or taller. We played a game with paper strips and compared them to find our match. Finally, we traced our bodies and wrote a sentence about it. Some wrote things they are taller than. Others wrote things that are shorter than them. Everyone had fun!
Welcome to our classroom blog. We are so glad that you came to visit. We hope you will enjoy reading about what we are learning and doing in class. Feel free to leave comments. We would love to hear from you!
